From the Minister.
Walking in Faith
Our theme for 2010 is “Walking in Faith”. I have been preaching on Sunday Mornings from Hebrews chapter 11 about the great men and women of faith. I have preached on Abraham and showed how even when God’s promises seem impossible, faith trusts that God will do as He has promised. I have preached on Joseph and showed how even when people let you down, faith endures and gets us through all things. I am preaching on Moses and I am showing how even when feelings of inferiority are paralyzing, faith acts and helps us to accomplish the things for God that we should.
During the last half of March I will be preaching on how the faith of Jesus led Him to pay the ultimate price for us. Why am I preaching so much on faith? I believe that everything that takes place in our life is either affected by our faith or controlled by our faith. How we handle situations or how we overcome the obstacles we face is determined by the amount of faith we have in Christ. All the people listed in Hebrews 11 are regular people that God had given talents to and called on them to use those talents for God’s purpose and they were willing to do so. They were not always eager to do so and sometimes they questioned God about them, but in the end they were willing to obey God because of their faith. God has blessed us with talents and have given us opportunities to serve Him, so are we willing to do the service He demands of us. Let us walk in faith, trusting that God will help us do the things He asks of us.

We should love the Bible and everyone should read it. The Bible is God's Word. It holds the solution of life. It tells about the Best Friend humanity ever had, the noblest, kindest, truest Man who ever walked on this earth. It is the most beautiful story ever told. It is the best guide to human conduct ever known. It gives a meaning, a glow, a joy, a victory, a destiny, and a glory to life elsewhere unknown. There is nothing in history or in literature that in any way compares with the simple record of the Man of Galilee who spent His days and nights ministering to the suffering, teaching human kindness, dying for human sin, rising to life that shall never end, and promising eternal security and eternal happiness to all who will come to Him.

First Time Visitors
Pole Green Church of Christ is a friendly, fun Church. We have classes and activities for all ages. Dress can range from Sunday best to casual, your choice. You will fit in either way. The worship times are listed below. Come and see what is going on!
Our main entrance is on the left hand side of the large building, with steps going up. We have a ramp and handicapped parking in the front of our building facing the street. Elderly and handicapped are welcome to enter there. Please inform us that you are a first time visitor and we will be happy to answer all your questions.
