                   THE PROFILE OF YOUR LIFE

Every person has a profile.  Each person's profile---his or her patterns, habits, principles, and beliefs---indicates who he or she is as an individual.  Have you ever thought about your personal profile and whether your life will have a lasting impact?  If people took a long look at your life, what would they see?  What qualities and habits would be evident for all to witness?  In what ways are you influencing the lives of others?  Let us look in the life of the apostle Paul and profile the characteristics of this man's amazing life.  Why Paul?  Because Paul lived.

A life of obedience to the Lord's commands.

A life of service to others.

A life of meekness and humility.

      A life of prayer.

A life full of faith and trust.

A life of empowerment by the Spirit.

A life of loving and studying the Scriptures.

A life of modeling Christlikeness for others to follow.

A life of faithfulness to the end.

Wouldn't you like to have this kind of a profile?  We can.  It is called being a servant to God and the Lord Jesus Christ.  Let us follow Paul's example.

Remembering Jesus......

In John 1:29 we hear John the Baptist saying "Look, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!"  Then later in verse 34 John testifies "I have seen and I testify that this is the Son of God."   John was inspired by God to recognize Jesus - to know that Jesus would be the one to baptize with the Holy Spirit.  John also recognized that Jesus was more important than he was, and we know that John gave his life to make Jesus known to the world.   How important is Jesus to you?

God bless us as we remember His Son, Jesus.
